The Founding 1,000

1.Overview

The Founding 1,000 program (the "Program") rewards Ripen's earliest waitlist members with in-app credit. No purchase or payment is needed to join the waitlist, refer friends, nominate someone, or receive a reward.

2.Who can take part

• You must be 18 or older and a legal resident of the 50 U.S. states or D.C.
• One waitlist account per person.
• Ripen employees and contractors, and their immediate family and household members, can't receive Founding 1,000 or Top 10 rewards.
• Void where prohibited.

3.Reward 1: your first dollar

The first 10,000 people to join the waitlist receive a $1 in-app credit when they open a Ripen account after launch.

4.Reward 2: the Founding 1,000

There are 1,000 spots, filled two ways:

• Referral spots (500): the 500 eligible members with the most points when the waitlist closes. Ties go to whoever reached the tied total first.
• Nomination spots (500): chosen by a Ripen review panel from confirmed nominations, based on need and the potential impact described in the nominee's story. The number of times someone is nominated doesn't count.

Each Founding 1,000 member receives a $100 in-app credit at launch and may receive periodic bonus credits as described in section 5. A person can hold only one spot.

Ripen will announce the date the waitlist closes by email and on its social channels at least 14 days in advance.

5.Periodic bonus credits

Our goal is to help every Founding 1,000 member reach retirement. Over the life of Ripen, we plan to send Founding 1,000 members bonus credits from time to time to help them get there.

• Whether, when and how much bonus credit is sent is up to Ripen alone.
• Bonus credits aren't tied to Ripen's revenue, profits or value. No specific amount, schedule or total is promised.
• Being in the Founding 1,000 doesn't give you any ownership, equity or voting rights in Ripen.

6.Reward 3: Top 10 referrer bonus

The 10 eligible members with the most points when the waitlist closes receive an extra $1,000 in-app credit. They also hold Founding 1,000 referral spots.

7.How points work

You earn 50 points for each friend who joins through your personal link and 25 points for each time you share Ripen on social media, up to 5 shares (125 points) per person. Your point total and rank are shown on your waitlist page, and they decide Founding 1,000 referral spots and the Top 10 bonus.

• A referral counts when a real, eligible person joins through your link with their own valid email address.
• Self-referrals, fake or throwaway emails, bots, bought signups, duplicate accounts and automated or fake shares don't count.
• Ripen may check points and remove any that look invalid.
• Cheating or faking referrals or shares means removal from the Program and loss of any rewards.

8.Nominations

• Anyone 18 or older can nominate someone. Nominating is free.
• You must have told the nominee, or be comfortable with Ripen emailing them to ask whether they want to be considered.
• Ripen emails each nominee once. A nominee must confirm within 30 days, or the nomination is deleted.
• Nominees must meet the eligibility rules in section 2.
• When your nominee confirms, you move up the waitlist.
• Please don't include private details such as debts, income or health in a nomination story. Ripen uses nomination details only to run this Program.

9.About the credits

• All rewards are in-app credits, added after launch once you open and verify a Ripen account. You choose how to invest them.
• Ripen doesn't recommend investments or promise returns. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.
• Credits can't be transferred or sold.
• Rewards may be taxable. Ripen may ask for your taxpayer information and issue tax forms where required.
• If Ripen does not launch, no credits are issued.

10.General

Ripen may change or end the Program if necessary and will post any changes on this page. Ripen's decisions about eligibility, referrals and nominations are final. Questions? Email hello@ripen.money.
